The Munroe Inn B&B

Hi, we stayed at The Munroe Inn during a quick "art tour" we took to see some exhibitions at some of the College art museums in the area. The Inn was a delightful stopover in our journey and Olga was the most delightful host. The Inn is a sight to see, beautifully decorated both inside and out. Our room was beautiful, filled with the most eclectic art, and furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the street quiet. We opted for the breakfast option and Olga created the most wonderful breakfast starting with Greek yogurt mixed with her blueberry jam and fresh blackberries on top. The main course was delicious, when she asked us what we liked the night before we said to be experimental and boy did she deliver a wonderful breakfast. We stayed two nights at the Munroe Inn Bed & Breakfast, a lovingly refurbished historic home in Auburn, Maine. This is a great location from which to visit and explore places in Portland, Brunswick, New Gloucester, and beyond. Our rooms were quite clean and the beds very comfortable. The proprieter, Olga, is quite the chef and has mastered the breakfast delights of the many places she has visited in her world travels. It's a fun place to stay.

She is an adventurous breakfast chef, and I found the meals delightful. This is a great place to stay while exploring places in Portland, Brunswick, and nearby locales.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at The Munroe Inn in Auburn—it’s a Victorian gem nestled in the quiet historic district, filled with unique decor and elegant charm. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed with art and add to the inn’s antique character. Olga was the perfect host: attentive, friendly, and ready with wonderful local recommendations. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was the highlight—Olga’s gourmet eggs felt like more than a meal; it was a thoughtful, delicious way to start the day. Walked to a pub for dinner by the river and saw a beaver!

Adorable space! Was there for work so was very in and out, but Olga was still welcoming, provided everything we’d need, and made us feel right at home. The space was neat and quiet, and the art throughout the B&B was gorgeous and clearly told a story. Definitely would go back if in the area. Thanks Olga!
