Customer Reviews
It was a nice stay for what it costs. The rooms were clean and not bad, the furniture was dated to say the least and really showed its age. The breakfast was good but a long walk to actually get back to it. The place wasn't bad in any particular aspect and would probably be fine with a bit of refurnishing in the rooms.
The bed and room were comfortable, the walls were a little thin though, you could clearly hear everything happening outside your room and in nearby rooms. But it servered its purpose as a resting spot and the free breakfast was suprisingly good. Overall a nice stay, would recommend to people who are used to city noises.
Positive: Location and the staff was friendly and helpful. Negative: It was very sketchy. There was a literal hole in the door. My 12 year old son had to force a shotty piece of metal down to cover the hole. The beds are old and uncomfotable. Everything needed a good refreshing.
It was just awful the desk clerk was rude. big noises where I stayed. Man in truck yelling obscenities. Woman smoking in front of our non smoking door. Next door neighbor slaming door at least 15 times going in their room late at night! I have a special needs dog. I was told to leave tomorrow as she isn't a real security dog@ She is a Ptsd dog of my disabled 80 year old woman signed by her doctor. Cleaning of parking lot not good for this disabled woman. When some of this was reported to desk clerk he said why didn't you tell us???!!! I didn't know it was our job to tell him. I thought he should be checking on this by staff. I will never stay here again!!!
Econo Lodge in Auburn Maine. Very run down. In dyer need of upgrades all around. Pictures don't give you a true idea of what the room s are like. I'm including pictures we took of our room. Walls are in bad shape, couple holes in the ceiling, lamp bases were starting to show rust. Beds in our room were foam mattresses on top of a frame, no box spring type bed. The foam was very soft (way too soft), uncomfortable and hold your body heat so much so we had to turn on the A/C and this was on the weekend of Oct. 24th to the 26th and it's not because it was hot out, it was freezing! We had joining room with family. The doors between the rooms (between the two doors), were dirty and they were hollow doors, so if someone sneezed or laughed you could hear it clearly! The clothes rack was badly rust
