The Mariner Resort Motel

We absolutely love this place! We have stayed several times and will keep going back. The rooms are very clean, the staff are so nice and it's very quiet. Both indoor and outdoor pools are just fantastic! The hot tub is an extra bonus!! It's so nice to have Adirondack chairs in the grass area looking at the water...and BBQ grills!! I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a chill place to stay. Also, very close to everything 🌻🫎

Our room was clean, easy to access and had plenty of space. The pool areas were amazing. There was an outdoor pool and an indoor pool with a hot tub and sauna area. There was a public space with a large ice machine, bathrooms near the pool and vending machines. The front desk was available and answered questions or got use needed supplies upon request. There was a propane firepit in the back with some seating. The view of the ocean was only seen from our room on the second floor. The relaxing space at the end of the property viewed the marsh area before a strip of houses before the ocean. ||I would definitely stay here again. I reviewed a lot of places prior to booking. There were a lot of complaints about other places in my price range not being updated or being dirty. I booked this place

We have stayed here several times as a quick stop on our way to our final destination.|CONS: It seems every year the quality and service has gone downhill. For example, we specifically requested a room on the ground level and was given a room on the upper level. Our room could not be changed. For those not familiar with this motel there is no elevator. |The towels and bedding need an upgrade. The towels are very thin and the bottom sheets are pilly.| Only dispenser shampoo and bar soap are offered for toiletries. |PROS:The mattress was acceptable if you like a firm bed. |The room was fairly clean. |It was nice to have a microwave and fridge.

My group and I arrived to The Mariner as a drive by looking for last minute accommodation on a busy holiday weekend. We were greeted by Charlotte, who immediately jumped to action and was a tremendous help. Her customer service (along with all other staff) went such a far way; they were so impressive with their kindness and professionalism. We split our time between the motel rooms and the river house due to working with last minute availability. The motel room was basic but suited our needs perfectly! The Adirondack chairs outside of the rooms were an awesome touch, we loved having coffee here! The river house however exceeded our expectations! It has coastal charm, a massive layout, and fully stocked to host! My hope is to utilize the river house again with family and friends - there are
