The Lucky Duck

The Lucky Duck on Lake Gaston in Littleton N.C. was spectacular. We shared our family of 13 Thanksgiving at this beautiful home on a gorgeous lake and had a wonderful time. In addition to the beautiful location, the amenities were over the top. Very little , if anything, was missed. Kitchen stocked, dishes, games for the kiddos, fireplace inside for chilly nights, and a firepit for the outdoor s'mores ! Bit chilly to enjoy the extraordinary boat house with sooo many lake toys, but the kids did manage to fish a bit. Caught a catfish! A good time was had by our entire family. We are thinking "maybe" a spring/summer reunion! We were "lucky" to have found the Lucky Duck. Thank you from our entire family.

The Lucky Duck was a recent family favorite week. The house and view of the sunrise and sunset was stunning! The house is fully equipped with everything you would want and neatly organized for quick access. The owners are amazing. They are quick to respond to any questions and provided us with great places to check out in the area. We had a party of 10 with one granddaughter who loved the guest house. The property is incredible! Highly recommended!!!

The Lucky Duck is an amazing home on the luck to make beautiful memories with family. Absolutely gorgeous and stunning home inside and out. Wonderful host from booking the property and checking out. Everything you need to have an awesome vacation is there . Our beautiful family made beautiful memories. We will come back to stay at the lake house.

The Lucky Duck is genuinely the best vacation rental I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. The location is beautiful, the spaces were immaculately clean and well cared for, it came stocked with everything my group needed to have a great time, and the owner has a true gift for hospitality. I often give place 5 stars by default, but in this case, the Lucky Duck absolutely earned every one of them. If you’re trying to choose between multiple options for your next trip, choose the Lucky Duck, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolute perfection! We enjoyed a beautiful fall week weekend at the Lucky Duck, it was a family trip with my sisters, their families and my Mom to celebrate my youngest sister’s 50th Birthday. The property is just gorgeous, immaculately landscaped, the floor plan of the house is perfect with each bedroom having a queen or larger bed and their own private bathroom, the outdoor space is well thought out for relaxing or enjoying some activities, which they do offer access to kayaks, a fire pit (also stocked with firewood), ping pong table. There is a beautiful boathouse with boat & jet ski lifts if you choose to rent or bring those along. The kitchen was just perfect, so well equipped, I cant think of anything I needed and let me tell you, I cooked ALOT over that weekend. The icing on the ca
