What a magical experience! This place checked all the boxes and didn't disappoint. The views from the cabin were spectacular and afforded some amazing star gazing at night as well. We spent time admiring all of the wonderful and interesting decorations the owners curated for the place. It really added to experience and we apprecaite that! The location is optimal as we enjoy hiking and outdoor activities. (did Old Rag and White Oak Canyon hikes) and hit Shotwell Brewery down the road afterward and were not disappointed. (try the IPA!) We will definitely come back and will bring our fishing rods next time for the stocked pond. The kids had a memorable experience and the adults were able to recharge and enjoy mother nature. Wow!! This place is fabulous. Great views from a large deck which has outstanding sunrise views so be sure to bring your camera. You’ll want to frame your pic. The inside is beautifully decorated with an Indian theme and many interesting articles of art. You can take a hike on the 60 acres one of which leads to a creek or river. The kids loved playing on the rocks trying not to fall in the water. The kitchen is large and we had 5 people working in it to make our evening meal which was delicious!! The Lodge was gorgeous with stunning views of the mountains in the distance. The only problem there was no hot water not enough lights in the kitchen area.
