The Lodges at Gettysburg

My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Lodges! Elizabeth at the front desk greeted us with a smile and was attentive to every detail of our stay! The Lieutenant's Lodge was so spacious, with a living room/kitchen area attached to the bedroom. There was an electric stove that made the space feel warm and cozy! We enjoyed a delicious dinner at their restaurant, Gloryridge Tavern. Ethan was an excellent and personable server. The views and peaceful setting topped off our stay. We highly recommend The Lodges at Gettysburg!

We were here for a weekend as family to the bride and groom having their destination wedding at this location. From the outside, everything looks great. From the inside, first the room. Inside the cabin was cute but not comfortable. The matress could be updated for comfort, and the only other place to sit was on a bench that looked like it was from the 18th century: smelled and the padded seat sunk - thought I was falling through it. Next, the main lodge area. It was nice and the area for the venue was great. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were very nice. However, this was a pricey venue, yet they could not offer the bridalparty coffee, tea without charging $5 a cup while they werre getting hair and makeup done!?Meanwhile, the only reason this place was bringing in money in th

The Lodges at Gettysburg has become my favorite place to stay in Gettysburg. I come to Gettysburg for the battlefield and the town but love the peace and tranquility that the Lodges gives me after a day on the battlefield. The sunrise views are priceless with fog rising off the farm below. It is only about 4 miles from the southern end of the battlefield with a nice view of Big Round top to the east. Each lodge is named for a state that fought at Gettysburg. I usually stay in a lieutenant lodge which has a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bath. They are very spacious!! Finally, the Gloryridge Tavern offers a nice variety of meals and beverages. If you’re there on a Wednesday they offer a steak special which is very good. |In my opinion, The Lodges is the best place to stay in Gettysbu

Stayed here over Christmas. The staff was great at making sure we were doing good. At one point we were the only guests there and it was great! So quiet and peaceful. Great location with privacy. Gettysburg is my favorite place to visit and I definitely plan on staying at the Lodges again!
