The Lodge Motel

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lodge Motel in Fort Garland, Co. The room was clean and serviced daily. The management definitely had that "small town hospitality" that you don't get at big name hotels. I appreciated how pet friendly they were and even have and small dog run with a view of Mount Blanca. For a small town motel, the lodge was perfect for me and my family (and affordable).

Perfect stay for exploring Great Sand Dunes. Very authentic Motel, very clean, amazing hostess. The rooms are beautifully equipped, “ mountain style” and we had a gorgeous dinner in the nearby restaurant All Gon, meeting many locals.|We found everything needed when you travel, all amenities were thoughtfully composed. Typical bathroom with bathtub/ shower.|I highly recommend this romantic, typical place.

This is the best motel to visit The Great Sand Dunes national Park, only 30 min driving from there. The host is kind and the room are confortable and well heated. I recommand 100%

Reasonably priced, great value, awesome location. It’s a mom & pop place 25-30 min from great sand dunes national park. Some is a bit outdated but we ran into one of the owners in the morning who said they’re working on it. It was a safe place to relax, clean with all the typical room amenities. Also nice to see a dog park and place to BBQ!

I have stayed at the Lodge in Fort Garland for some time now. It's always a great atmosphere... Currently in a stay under new management and great as always
