Mountain View Motor Inn LLC

I stayed here for an extended period of time. The place is way outdated even though they claimed my room had just been remodeled. They told me the oven is brand new when I looked inside the oven it was obvious some one had a fire. The inside was covered In dry extinguisher foam. When I told the person at the front desk she said oh it’s brand new. The oven had to be 25 yrs old. Every surface imaginable was covered in in a variety of colorful crustacean and I’m pretty sure some of it was blood but I didn’t say anything I cleaned that room top to bottom myself because very early in my stay it was very clear that these folks don’t care that much and any request would be met with a huh? Like when I asked if there was a garbage can available for my room and I was told the tiny 1 gallon can nex

This is such an amazing hotel! The rooms are extremely clean, the staff is super friendly, and the views of the mountains are breathtaking! I will absolutely be staying here again.

I would give the hotel a 5 Star Review. Clean rooms and great check in service form Angelica. The only reason its a 4 star is because the hotel could use some modern upgrades, such as a Key Card entrance and USB charging in the rooms. Everything else was great in this tiny town of Fort Garland.

This is a very well maintained and clean older motel. The staff were professional and answered all of our questions. The room appeared to have been remodeled recently. All of the fixtures worked correctly. My only comment is one that would come with all older motels. The walls are thin and you are going to know if you have neighbors next door!

Great little hotel that is veteran owned. Super great staff, clean rooms and very convenient if you are visiting the dunes. Staff went out of their way to ship back an item that we left in our room. Can’t recommend enough!
