The Lodge & Club

Love this place. Beautiful property in a beautiful community. Room had a phenomenal view of the ocean. Cozy gas fireplace feature. Spacious rooms. Bartenders are great. The little bar/restaurant outside on the pool deck is great. Cocktails are good there. I had the bang bang shrimp which was a nice snack. I like spicy and this didn't register for me. Did enjoy the breakfast on the 2nd floor of the lobby. Cornedbeef hash was good, plenty of food. Sat for a catered dinner which had a few highlights- tomato squash soup, tiny desserts, and the cheese ravioli. I understand thst keeping temperatures on proteins is challenging for catered menus. This sadly worked against my experience. All in all- if you're thinking about staying here you'll love it.

They do not have a generator which is shocking for a luxury hotel in Florida where airconditioning is needed. When it rains, the overhead covering by the pool leaks so you get wet, there is a VERY small pool for adults- as in the kind one has in one’s backyard, that small. The family/children’s pool is across the street. Parking is a bit of a hassle although they do have valet. The staff is lovely. The rooms are nice. It is very crowded however now that its sister hotel, Ponte Vedra Inn is under huge construction. All of the people staying at the other hotel are bussed (van, shuttle) into the Lodge which makes it quite crowded and will be this way for the next year.

Ponte Vedra Lodge & Club is one of our favorite hotel stays in Florida. It’s beautiful, timeless, and always exceptional. We recently toured their wedding venue and had the BEST experience with their wedding coordinator, Kaitlin. She is truly a gem. Warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly talented at what she does. She made the entire experience feel special and effortless. The company is so lucky to have her, and we couldn’t say enough great things. Highly recommend!!

This place has lost its magic. Overpriced food. Overpriced rooms. Overpriced beach rentals. Horrible service. Horrible very old beds. No value I'm sure most people staying here are acclimated to high end beds just like us - Or, at minimum, most people use modern memory foam because spring mattresses are the worst. Another guest told me that even Holiday Inn has better beds, so what does that tell you?? A lot of these things didn't bother us beforehand but when service starts becoming excessively unpleasant, you start wondering why you keep coming back. Too many of the good reviews are from people that aren't ever actually staying here. Ignore the reviews that are just from people attending banquets, and the members who are just coming to eat/drink. One of the most awesome experiences. Ocean front room with balcony. I woke up with a fireplace and watching the sunrise on the beach. The room opens to a courtyard for sitting and watching the ocean just feet away. Full 5 star hotel. Everyone was friendly. The rooms are super clean. Awesome views plus a sitting area by the window to sit and relax or read while watching the ocean or sunrise.
