The Lodge at Smoky Cove

We rented the entire lodge for my daughter’s wedding to host friends and family. It is in a stunningly beautiful location, was perfect for what we needed - use of the kitchen and the use of the whole lodge was incredibly enjoyable for all of our guests. The hot tub was great. People enjoyed pool and foosball table. The hiking trail was great as was the fire pit for people to sit around. The beds were comfortable. It truly had all the space and amenities that we needed. Lisa was great to work with. Would love to rent the whole lodge again!

After reading the reviews was a little skeptical of staying there. Had received a weekend as a gift, so decided to give it a try we could leave if not acceptable. First it is off the beaten path so if you are looking for active nightlife or anything other than a great view off of a veranda on site this is probably NOT for you. Also if you are looking for pampering,luxury linens, a surplus of amenities, Nope not even going to find a TV or micro or telephone or hairdryer in room.. Your in a lodge built in 1940, that is owned and ran by a family. The family is very nice and very accommodating. Enjoyed every interaction I shared with them. Seems most have difficult time getting cell phone service, we did not have any problem with that. The thing that caused me the greatest discomfort was

We had a wonderful two nights stay here last week. Fantastic location in proximity to the Park and attractions. Wonderful room with lots of great history. Yes, the lodge is still a work in progress for some details, but the owners bought it a few years ago and are working on everything. We had the place to ourselves but the views from the room over the Smokies was amazing and the new cedar hot tub was very fun. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Beautiful place. More beautiful than the photos. Lisa the owner is the best host. The yoga retreats with Utopia Yoga are wonderful. The view of the lodge is gorgeous and serene. The hiking trail in the property is also great. The accommodations are great. I can’t say enough good things about this location and the people. Loved my time there and can’t wait to go back.

The lodge was great and we had an awesome time. It’s really close to the casino, which was super convenient. The views were beautiful and the hot tub was very nice and relaxing. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it.
