The Hive Lodge

Our daughter was getting married in Great Smoky Mountain National Park and we found Hive Lodge while looking for a place for all her aunts, uncles and grandparents could stay together and we could not have imagined it as perfect as it was. We also rented the Ol Gun Range Cabin right behind it as we had 24 total people staying there. There were plenty of everything needed for everyone to be very comfortable. The eating area off the kitchen easily fit everyone and we spent the first couple hours of each day having breakfast together there. Late night or early morning cuddled under a blanket on the rocking chairs on screened porch were just incredible as well! Beautiful location! Very Remote, take what you'll be needing! Weird that you have to go outside to go upstairs, very strange 🤔 There was a strong mold/mildew smell in the house and No comfortable furniture. Not a place for 45 plus ages, nothing comfortable to sit on or sleep on. Stairs on entry with a handrail only halfway. Had a good time cause we enjoyed each other's company. Wouldn't return though.

There were 20 family members in this place at the same time. We all loved it. It's beautiful and very clean. We will definitely be staying here again. Brian, the owner, was super helpful and friendly. It was spacious, fun, well stocked with basic amenities . I can't say enough nice things about it.

I stayed at The Hive for a week and I loved the whole experience. The scenery in and around the house was beautiful. There were lots of amenities there that was a pleasant surprise. Leaving was very bittersweet and I hope to stay again in the future. I would recommend The Hive to unwind and take a nap on a hammock (I did a few times). Overall highly satisfied.

Stayed here 3-4 days with some friends in the spring. Beautiful spot and lovely cabin. To hike around you'll have to go to the national park relatively close by because the cabin is surrounded by private property.
