Smoky Mountain Country Club & Vacation Rentals

Review is a little late but stayed at the resort for a weekend and played the course on 9/20. First the good was lodging very nice and had a recreation area with pool, fitness center, hot tub and tennis courts that was also nice. Staff were friendly and breakfast at club house was very good. Would consider staying here again. The bad was that the greens on the course were unplayable and shouldn’t be open given their current state. While fairways and tee boxes were in great shape, most greens had little to no grass and were too bumpy to play on; the best ones were the greens that were simply rolled dirt. It’s definitely mountain golf with some steep elevations changes, and could be worth playing once it recovers but I couldn’t recommend playing this until mid next year at the earlies

Our 8 man golf trip was at Smoky Mountain Golf Club again this year for the 2nd year in a row. We had an excellent time! The Misty Mountain cabin was nothing short of amazing. The people in the pro shop and the grill are great and the food is top tier. I would like to thank Ben Cornblum for helping us set up the trip again. I would highly recommend the stay and play!

TL;DR: Smoky Mountain Country Club refuses to take responsibility for damages caused to innocent families driving by their course.||As I was driving by this weekend with my mom and baby in the vehicle, a golf ball shattered my windshield. Thankfully the glass that sprayed all over the cab did not harm us and we are uninjured, but we immediately went to the club house to try to find out who was responsible. The pro shop manager was very kind, but basically informed us that the golfer is liable and is the one who should have to pay. After waiting a few minutes while they asked around, we were told that no one would admit to doing it, so we would be stuck with the bill.||The owners have refused to help us out. We loved our stay! The cabin/condo had everything would need and plenty of space! It was clean and loved the quiet area and easy access to Bryson city! Our only problem to us was at night in dark getting back up to cabin and making right turn but again that was on us'! We will for sure be back! Terri and family

Lovely and peaceful stay with all accommodations. The location with the amazing views and the weather was perfect. The condo was clean and in order. Large rooms, tall ceilings, & tons of space. Communication was on point. We will definitely stay here again. Enjoyed it.👍
