The Lighthouse Inn at Aransas Bay

Positive: I thought it was clean and the staff were pleasant Negative: The bathroom was not ADA compliant. There was not a phone in the room. When checking in, I heard another guest complain about the hotel not being ADA compliant. With no grab bars in the bathtub, it did cause us problems.

Stayed at The Lighthouse to attend the Rockport Songwriter Festival.||Loved the hotel's old school vibe, the rooms were very clean, and the bayside views are spectacular. ||The staff was very friendly and professional, and made me feel welcome. |The Palm Room was the perfect spot for dinner!|| I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and have already booked a return visit.|| One thing that I should mention is that there is no swimming in the bay.|But there is a very nice pool and spa.

Excellent experience at a quality facility. Rooms are clean, comfortable as are the beds and linens. We had a Bayside room with 2 rockers on the balcony. Amazing views. The grounds are well kept with loungers along the bulkhead. The restaurant had a complimentary breakfast with fluffy eggs, link sausage biscuits and gravy, and my favorite, waffles! Staff were super friendly and efficient. Will definitely return! Oh, the bar has a good happy hour and tasty dinners.

My friends (from NW Colorado) and I recently spent two lovely nights at the elegant Lighthouse Inn. Every aspect of our stay was “top notch.” With wood floors and vintage furniture, the property is designed to look and feel like a Victorian cruise ship. The rooms are large and include all the necessities. My room, on the ground floor, opened onto a lovely seating area facing the pool, hot tub, and gardens. Note - The pool-side rooms face west while the ocean-side rooms face east. My friends had an ocean-side room. I especially enjoyed the extra-large tub! The breakfast was excellent in selection, presentation, and quality. I highly recommend the Lighthouse Inn!

My kiddos love coming to visit the lighthouse! Love being able to dine in the hotel and have a good view of the water while eating the most delicious cheesecake ever lmao! They get so excited when catching fish off the private peer and the pool is always a hit cause the hotel has pool toys for everyone to use and towels just in case you forget your own. Overall great environment and friendly staff!
