The Lake Huron Resort

Went there for a friends wedding this weekend and stayed here at the house. I just loved it! Would most definitely come and stay there again. The honey moon sweet is just amazing when I seen the bride and grooms room!

Okay, this review is an important read before you book. The bad reviews you see are likely about the not remodeled rooms. When you book, make sure you request a remodeled room! My family has been going up every year for the longest time, we’re talking 30+ people, and have never had issues with anything. Rooms are clean, location is awesome. There is so much grass before the sand, which is optimal if you have children, for safety reasons and so they can play! The gazebo, mini basketball court, and volleyball net are all well kept. Not to mention you’re right across the road from Family Fare. This place is great for big groups. Highly recommend!

This might be a tale of two resorts. My sister and husband stayed in a second floor room that was OK. My husband and I stayed in a shabby, damp and smelly room. The mattress was ok, other than that, it was less than pleasant. The location on the lake was nice with a good beach. I would not recommend based on our room experience. I guess you could ask for a ‘newer’ room.

We were up here for our mother's celebration of life and the resort rented us the pavilion house. Friendly staffing and the pavilion is right off the lake so beautiful view. We were provided ample parking. The room was older and not remodeled but clean. Breakfast was light items choices like fruit, cereal bagels muffins toast coffee juices

Staff was super friendly beach access was amazing very close to lots of attractions, we stayed in one of their older rooms for a price difference but they do have newly renovated rooms if you're looking for something fancier, had a great stay and will be coming back!
