Clean waterside room with nice view. The geese disrupted sleep during the second night. Nice little hidden gem. Complimentary breakfast with waffle maker and other breakfast items.

Dirty. This area of up north Michigan is beautiful and this whole hotel is just the worst area You can get so much better for your money. The workers look like they hate their lives. They tell you how cleaning only comes when you leave. They say they have breakfast, but it’s cereal and old milk. They have no security measure so anyone can walk through any door.

Positive: It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Negative: There was no salt or pepper for breakfast. It was really good other than that.

We had an amazing stay! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the view along with the overall ambiance was wonderful. Breakfast was just okay not bad, but it could have been better. They only had bagels, and adding some bread or more options would have made it nicer. At check-in, the person at the reception looked a bit grumpy, but when we were checking out, he was smiling so I think he was probably just tired. What really stood out was the private area behind the hotel that was reserved only for hotel guests definitely brownie points for that special touch! I will definitely visit again

This hotel offers clean and spacious rooms, a pool, and a beautiful and relaxing deck out back with nice views of the Ausable River. They also have a friendly and helpful staff and they are very knowledgeable of the area. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and the convenient location near the river and lake is what makes this Hotel a must stay on your next visit.
