The Kern Lodge

Our stay at Kern Lodge was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had. Bruce went above and beyond—he was always available, super kind, and made us feel so welcome. The room was very clean, cozy, and even warmed up for us when we arrived. The little details like the cute toiletries, the lights around the building, and the retro decor made it extra special. We had the best time in Kernville and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Bruce!

The cabins are in a great location, within walking distance (2 mins) of a fully stocked supermarket, and 1 minute to the brewery.||The cabin is clean and comfortable, with a lovely comfy bed, and decent kitchen facilities. The air conditioning works well, and kept the cabin lovely and cool in the summer heat. ||The pool is clean and well presented, and we used it every day during our 4 night stay. There is limited shade around the pool. ||We used the gas bbq in the little garden area to cook our tea one night, having bought delicious steaks from the supermarket close by. ||We think these cabins are excellent value for money and would happily stay again in the future.

Very cute mountain lodge with a pool and fun outside games! The only problem is that there is constant noise and light in the area, so if you want a good night sleep you need to be well equiped.

I booked this room as a last minute trip, just wanting to get away from all fireworks in the city to not stress out my pets. Very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Definitely coming back here. And the town, its just beautful.

Wow I really have to hand it to management and staff here at the Kern Lodge. I stayed in Room 204, one of the apartment rooms and this room WAS PRISTINE! My linens were clean, new, and literally smelt like heaven. Amenities full, towels fully stocked, even the toilet paper was folded like an envelope and stamped. Their attention to detail couldn't have been better. The best part, management! Cassandra and Bruce what an absolute thrill it was meeting such wonderful people. The two of you have really turned this place around and it shows. I arrived a bit late so I called the number on the door upon arrival and was met in no time.
