The Inn On Madeline Island

The setting is beautiful. The staff is very nice. The Pub Restaurant was delicious with great service. But, the hotel needs some work, especially considering what it costs per night. The outside needs paint, and repair. The railing on our balcony was not safe. The rooms need updating. We were blasted by the AC all night. Setting it to "quiet" made it tolerable. Yes, it was warm enough that we needed the AC on. The platform bed creaked and groaned anytime one of us moved. I'm glad we only stayed one night.

I paid upfront. Then was charged again upon leaving. The failure to disclose upfront the total cost for the scheduled stay is not ethical. Addutionally, there was no room service. I will not return.

The Inn on Madeleine Island is a wonderful place to stay! Their staff went above and beyond to make our time there special. Our room was very comfortable and clean, overlooking lake Superior. Thank you so much for the great stay! We will be back!

We were up at the Apostle Islands for our Anniversary, the drive was beautiful and the Ferry Ride over to Madeline Island was awesome, but our Cabin rental was a bust. Fortunately, Sharon at the front desk of the Inn On Madeline Island was amazing, nice and extremely helpful! We were able to get into a King/Whirlpool - Lake Front Lux Room for our 3 night stay. It was so comfortable with fluffy bedding, lots of squishy pillows and slippery white sheets. Quite the opposite of the rental we had left. The FOOD at The PUB was also AMAZING. My favorite was the mouthwatering Blackened White Fish Cesar Salad but all the meals were amazing - we just ate there most of the time! THANK YOU to the staff at this amazing place. We got a great deal too. I would highly recommend staying / playing and relax

Stayed at the Fairway Suites, right on the golf course. These aren't suites, they are full one bedroom apartments. Towels shaped like cranes, laid out at the foot of the bed greeted us. Rooms were nicely updated, very comfortable. There was a fireplace, gas grill, fancy soaps, two folding suitcase racks, gas grill. the lawn was nicely trimmed and the back lawn area was huge with a cozy firepit. There was also a covered patio with a table and lounge chairs. The vibe of the inn itself was amazing, with great drinks, food and service. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. One thing missing from the room was a hair dryer, and the front desk staff didn't have one either. I will be back, this place is a great. Madeline Island is just a magical place, and the Inn exceeded my expectatio
