We had the most incredible stay! They have updated the Anderson Suite and it is super beautiful and modern! We loved waking up to the lake view every day. They provided free local coffee grounds in our room. Pet friendly. Within 10-15 minutes of downtown and great hikes nearby!
The place was nice and cozy. Check in was easy. Coffee was delicious, fireplace was nice and the views of the lake were spectacular. The them of the room were cool. Concerns I had, when we first got their almost fell due to the frozen water on the rub mat walking from the back parking lot. Also there was no way to turn the outside light off at night, which made it difficult to sleep, as the light was so bright. The communication was just ok. I would definitely go stay there again.
In Two Harbors, many places were booked, or overpriced, for a one night reservation on a Thursday night in the first week of June. Thank goodness we found room at the inn! ||The character, coziness and cleanliness of The Inn on G.G. made our stay special. We stayed in the Dreamcatcher room and thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace - for the cool, rainy evening - and the full-sized coffee maker. We knew before arrival that it would be in an area that did not have places to buy food, but we went for the view of Lake Superior out front. It was only about a 20 minute drive to Two Harbors, and about 10-15 minutes to Duluth. ||Many thanks to the inn owners for their attention to detail, including the nice bedding for the futon for our other family member! The queen bed and the futon were both comfort
We stayed here for our third anniversary with our dog, and we loved it! The room we stayed in was clean and came with shampoo and body wash if you don't have any. Cookware was present in case you wanted to eat in or there's a mini fridge in case you want to buy something for later. We utilized the bonfire at least two of our nights there and it was great to do so right in front of Lake Superior. Great location near downtown Duluth as well as going up to Two Harbors. You get a great view of Lake Superior where you were able to catch a sunrise every morning. I gave five stars, but closer to 4 and 1/2 Stars for service only because there wasn't anybody on site at the time for us to ask for questions or to ask if we could potentially replenish our coffee. However, there was a phone number you
A really nice stay! Clean room, has everything you would need. Nicely located between Two Harbors & Duluth with beautiful views of Lake Superior. Good communication as well in regards to check in, check out, etc. Highly recommend!
