The “Inn” Between the Beaches & The Villager Motel

Stayed two nights at The Inn Between the Beeches and the location couldn’t be better—park once and walk everywhere: Long Sands, Short Sands, even Nubble Lighthouse. The rooms aren’t flashy or modern, but they’ve got character, are spotless, and the beds are solid. Staff was sharp and attentive, and having a small kitchen setup in the room was a bonus. Great spot if you want comfort, convenience, and no-nonsense value.

My wife and I stumbled upon this Gem last year (2023) during our annual weekend at York. After that stay we planned a family re-union of approx. 19 people and 1 pug. I can not say enough about the attention given to us all by the owners and staff. The location, staff and price was above and beyond. Always friendly, comfortable and accommodating, with a personal touch to every thing that they do. All of us had a wonderful 3 days. We Keep hearing that it is a bit dated, On the contrary The Inn and The Villager are what Maine should be homey, friendly and as clean as the northern air.

After having mistakenly booked a cabin through an online platform, we had to get out of a nightmare place we’d planned to spend the week. Checked in at the very last minute and was greeted by lovely Adele who runs this very well operated family business. She and her family will make sure their guests are happy and comfortable. The rooms are always clean and there was plenty of room for the four of us. I am grateful for the lesson I learned and I will only stay here for any future visits. The location couldn’t be better and the amenities are above and beyond what you could expect elsewhere. Thank you for another wonderful visit.

Stayed here because it has dog friendly rooms. The rooms are dated but they are huge and clean. Its location is great ! Walking distance to both beaches ( short sands and long sands ) the owner Adele was very nice and accommodating. I will absolutely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay, wish it was longer!! Adele at check-in was so accommodating!! So convenient, clean, and comfortable!! Parking a breeze at your door!! Walk to beaches, restaurants, and FunZone!!
