The Inn at Honey Run

We booked a weekend getaway for two at the Inn at Honey Brook Run for my wife’s birthday, but unfortunately she fell ill and we couldn’t make it that weekend. I called to explain, and the hostess was genuinely happy to help us reschedule. That flexibility and kindness set the tone for the whole experience. Everything was amazing. The rooms are spacious, warm, and perfect for a romantic weekend away. We also had dinner at The Tarragon (attached to the inn) and it was very satisfying. Overall, using the Inn at Honey Brook Run as our home base for the weekend made our trip exceptional. Highly recommend.

My fiancé and I came to the inn to celebrate our engagement, and it was nothing short of magical! We loved the food and the dining experience, I purchased a beautiful necklace at the front desk that matched my engagement ring, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hiking experience. We encountered deer, woodpecker, squirrels, and the art in the woods was AMAZING. Who expects to see sharks in the middle of Amish country?! The entire experience was wonderful and all 9 minutes from our home! thank you so much for treating us like royalty and giving us a wonderful experience.

Had another great stay at The Inn at Honey Run. It's remote enough (in Amish country) to feel like a getaway, but still an easy and scenic drive. The setting of the Inn itself is a combination of wooded and pastoral, and is wonderfully peaceful and serene. The rooms are nicely appointed with updated finishes, but everything feels comfortable and inviting. Their on-site restaurant, Tarragon, also hits all the right notes. Treat yourself to a getaway there. It will be one that you will not only enjoy, but one that you will remember fondly....likely drawing you back again and again like it has for us.

EVERYTHING about our trip to The Inn at Honey Run was spectacular. From the time we checked in until we returned our key the next day, we could have asked for more. The comfort of our room at the Honey Combs was well beyond our expectations. From the plush, comfy robes and Tarocco toiletries to the Saratoga bottled water, Wolfgang Puck's coffee and a bag of biscotti, we couldn't have asked for more. We enjoyed our delicious dinner at Tarragon, the warmth of our fireplace in the evening, and the cotton-candy pink sunrise from our room. Our apologies for spending a little too much time feeding the sheep; they were so much fun! We loved the added touch of the Peterson Field Guide to Birds on the coffee table and can't wait to come back during better weather to walk the grounds and watch the b

We stayed in one of the “Superior” rooms, which felt worth the extra cost for the beautiful view out of the large windows. And waking up to the sunrise in the windows was wonderful. The property was beautiful and the inn itself is so cozy and serene. The only things that we didn’t love were the TV which had some sound issues, and the fact that the room was carpeted in what felt like older carpet. The carpet didn’t seem dirty, but old carpet is just a little off-putting in a hotel personally. The restaurant, “Taragon”, was very good but maybe a little over priced. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider coming back if we stay in Amish country again.
