Cricket Hill Cabins

We really enjoyed our stay in Waterview Lodge! The service is excellent and prompt. The hot tub was wonderful and stayed hot even in the cold temperatures. The only two issues: We were on the main level and could hear every step of the people above us. There's also a flood light outside of the window and no room darkening curtain on that window. Recommend a mask and maybe earplugs if you have trouble sleeping! (Waterview Lodge #4)

I was a bit disappointed at this property. It is older and seams a little tired. The fridge froze and ruined some of our food we bought. The dishwasher had no wheels on the bottom rack making it tough to use. The door on it creaks loud enough to wake the dead. Some of the pans we disgusting and unusable. If you aren't going to prepare any food then this won't be a problem. The loft where we slept had several huge spider webs making me wonder if it had been cleaned and/or checked in a while. We had to drive nearly 2 miles away to get our own extra towels, toilet paper etc. The upstairs extension cord had no cover and looked like it should be replaced. The shower in the bathroom has no anti-slip on the floor making it extremely slippery. I was concerned I could fall.|The upside

We absolutely loved our stay at Waterview Lodge! The suite was spotless, cozy, and perfect for a romantic getaway. The hot tub overlooking the pond was so relaxing, and the fireplace made the space feel extra special. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location too—close to Hershberger’s and lots of local shops. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed the suite we were in because it was lovely pine decor with a romantic fireplace. The view is lovely with the fall leaves which was surrounded by a pretty pond, pine trees very scenic. Everything was clean to the max and very quiet. A great romantic spot for our 25th anniversary. We highly recommend it.🍂

Great place. Lovely location. Dont really agree paying for early checkin or late checkout. Been to other rentals and if they had the unit clean , they let us in and let us stay hour late with no additional fee. All though the unit was clean, up in the bedroom was a huge cobweb and bathroom top cabinet needed dusted and top of fridge. The owners were very nice and responded with answers we had. All these comments were not show stoppers and would stay there again and you should too.
