The Inn At Harbor Shores

I was in town alone to take photos of the majestic St Joseph ice covered light house. I wanted to stay close as the weather and temperatures were frigid! I looked at the reviews for this place and they did not disappoint! Thank you for a very comfortable and warm stay! Irene at the front desk was very nice and friendly. I had bought myself a comfort pack and she brought it up to my room. My room was very clean and very comfortable. The in room amenities were great! Lots of charging ports and even built in trading lights in the head board of the bed. The bathroom very clean and well laid out. Lots of upgrades and much appreciated. I hope to visit again when I can take advantage of the dinner options in house. The coffee shop Rise was also very nice, clean and cozy. Thank you all f

Location was great not far from town and beach. Beautiful hotel inside and out. Didn't get to use the bar or restaurant but next time we will. Staff there are awesome!! They are very helpful and kind.

AVOID: Even if it looks nice, it is not. Staff and managers are rude and not helpful. Coffee machine doesn’t work Hotel is being renovated, but Nobody mention’s it while reserving. But the worst, it they play with our health with a jacuzzi that is dirty and not cleaned properly. Simply disgusting. And when we tell the manager, he looks at us like nothing is wrong… not Even a sorry… But

We discovered this little gem after visiting Saint Joseph, Michigan many times and had never stopped in until now. The ambience was absolutely lovely from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and our waitress was attentive and kind. We were seated in a cozy corner by the fireplace, which gave us that perfect Christmas feeling. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend—we will definitely be back in the spring and summer!

I've stayed at The Inn at Harbor Shores a few times when visiting family in the St. Joe area. The most recent time I stayed was this past weekend, when they had a Sunday Santa brunch on the second floor. I didn't eat at the brunch but I was babysitting and we went to see Santa and grabbed some complimentary hot chocolate. The Santa looked great and the hot chocolate was delicious! The hotel was decorated beautiful for the holiday and the staff was friendly, as always. I've enjoyed lunch and dinner at their restaurant, Plank's Tavern, and I've always enjoyed their outdoor tiki bar with a water view! They have nice, updated rooms, a cafe that opens early for espresso drinks, and their hot tub is awesome because it goes outside! It's fun to relax in the hot tub during a Michigan snowfall.
