A perfect stay at South Cliff Inn Bed & Breakfast! Allison and Daniel, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and genuinely hospitable from the moment we arrived. The South Cliff Inn is spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Our suite was spacious, tastefully themed, and had one of the most comfortable beds and pillows we’ve ever experienced at a bed and breakfast. Each morning started with a delicious homemade breakfast at 10AM overlooking the stunning views of Lake Michigan, and in the evenings, we enjoyed complimentary wine and cheese while watching the sunset from the cliffside patio. We discovered this place several years ago and has become our annual trip for our wedding anniversary every year since. You cannot say enough good things about Daniel and Allison the owners. Their hospitality is next level!!!!! Each room has its own personality and the views are the best St Joseph has to offer. The location is prime as you are close enough to walk to beaches and downtown but far enough you have peace and quiet. This is a MUST if you ever come to St Joes.

Very cozy, comfortable, restful B&B. We spent three days here. Allison and Daniel were very gracious, accommodating hosts. The view of sunsets over Lake Michigan was spectacular. We definitely hope to come back next year.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the South Cliff Inn and it was wonderful in every way. The friendly couple that runs the end really works hard to make sure everything is perfect for their guests. They have paid attention to details like making sure there are lots of USB charging areas available and putting taller chairs in the balcony so you easily see over the railing. The breakfast is very complete and delicious. I am gluten free and the hosts made sure I had lots of options. The rooms are very clean. The back garden overlooking the lake is beautiful and relaxing. One thing that’s important to me that’s hard to pick up from reviews sometimes is the air quality. I’m allergic to mold and any mildew smells really bother me. Even though this is an older house, the air is very fresh.

We recently spent three nights at South Cliff. Allison and Daniel were quite the hosts and very attentive each day. Great breakfasts and wonderful setting. Beautiful Lake Michigan in our backyard. The inn was very clean with outdoor bags which we played. We would return in the future. It was a great experience!
