The Hotel Oceanside

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Oceanside and would absolutely return. The location was incredibly convenient—and right off the freeway, making it extremely easy to find. Parking was free and conveniently located behind the hotel, which made arrival and departure effortless. Check-in was smooth and welcoming thanks to Mia, who was both efficient and genuinely friendly. I stayed in Room 201, which I would definitely request again. The room was spacious, exceptionally quiet, and impressively clean—both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. One of the standout surprises was the excellent water pressure in the shower, something that made the stay even more comfortable. Five stars because it’s great value for the price and location, and the staff is nice if you are nice. I actually decided to stay here because of how the hotel owner responded to some of the unfair reviews here 😂 I only wish I could have met the owner when I was here! Their replies seemed fair and it’s kind of refreshing that people doing dumb things can get called out for it (yesss referring to the reviewer who dyed her hair red at this hotel—like wow, way to do something so inherently and irreversibly messy; if you wouldn’t do it at your own house don’t do it at a hotel, jeeez). I also appreciate the NORMAL pet fee!! I will say, the beds in the pet friendly rooms are loud because they must have some heavy duty waterproof covers on them, but you really can’t blame them for that, and ag

The stay was not bad an average hotel stay but be careful when they charge you. Lady at the front ran my credit card 4 times said it was declined so I proceeded to pay with debit card. Come to find out I was charged 5 times for the same hotel room when I called them about it they said that they said they did not charge me. So I had to have my bank dispute the charges avoid yourself a headache.

This is a quaint little hotel that is within walking distance to just about anything you need. The room was clean and fairly spacious. Even with it be located on a main street, it was reasonably quiet. I would highly recommend staying here if you're on a budget.

I cannot leave a better review. The price was amazing. The room was amazing. The staff were all welcoming and super helpful. We came in from Tucson and they made us feel like locals. I have never been anywhere more welcoming away from home. The staff at the desk are all top notch at what they do. They all had great recommendations for the local scene and outlying areas. There have a little mini store in the lobby for all the things you forget when you pack. Toothpaste brushes mouthwash. Waters and.snacks. 10 minute walk to the beach. And a ton of restaurant choices on the way! Please visit these folks. They will make you feel at home.
