The Historic Schoolhouse Inn

Absolutely FANTASTIC stay and location. It is located right off the 101 and was very easy to get to, and check in was super easy. The hotel itself is superb - everything was truly spotless, and clean. The bed itself was the star of the show - maybe some sort of memory foam? I slept like a rock for 12 hours. I slept better here than I do at home! There are also blackout curtains that will cover all of the large windows too, if you want to keep it a little darker. There are plenty of outlets and the bathroom was also incredibly clean, with a smart flush toilet and a modern waterfall shower. They provided soaps, plenty of towels, bathrobes, and a hairdryer. If you forgot anything on your stay, they also have a little storefront that sells a bunch of stuff. The Inn is also located 4-7 minute

The Historic Schoolhouse Inn was an excellent place. The care and craftsmanship in the building renovation was exceptional. The people were super friendly. The room and common areas were very clean and well appointed. Check in and out was easy. The location is awesome - right on the coast and close to Redwood National and State Parks. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend.

The location is lovely, and the rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I needed help with my luggage and the staff graciously assisted me. One of my favorite perks was hearing the seals barking out on the water while I relaxed in the hot tub in the evening. The natural beauty nearby is unbelievable. I will definitely be back!

This was a travelers dream! After days of generic hotels, this quaint and comfortable oasis was a welcome respite. Reasonably priced, wonderful accommodations, and the most comfortable beds between Seattle and San Francisco! The room was classy, clean, and modern. The complimentary coffee was delicious too. We only stayed one night, but I would stay for an extended time or host an event if possible.

We found the Historic Schoolhouse Inn in an happy accident. After loving Trinidad on a previous road trip, we were glad to see lodging available last minute. While the road leading to the inn was rough, once we arrived, it was so cool! I love a re-vamped building. The room was clean and modern with high ceilings. I wish we were there more than 24 hours during our road trip.
