​The Driftwood Resort is easily one of the most unique and historic spots in Vero Beach. You can’t beat the location right on the ocean, and the rustic, "driftwood" architecture gives it a character that you won't find at any modern hotel. It’s a great place to walk around and soak in the old Florida vibes. The views are 5-star—sitting by the water here is unbeatable. The service at the resort and its restaurant, Waldo's, was perfectly fine and professional. Everyone was polite and the overall experience was smooth. If you're dining at the resort, the experience is a bit hit-or-miss. While the setting is great, the food (specifically the Cobb salad and Quesadillas) was a bit underwhelming and lacked flavor. Absolutely loved our stay at this quirky local hotel with unique Waldo Sexton decor throughout the property. Right on the beachfront with live music, a fun restaurant and laid back vibes. Clean, comfortable and convenient to everything on Ocean Drive. Pro Tips: - It’s not fancy or fussy, so set your expectations straight before walking through these historic doors! - Easy parking onsite and accessible to evening you need in the area - It can get rowdy at night with noise from larger groups so pack earplugs. Try and be chill…you’re on vacation!

Quaint, peaceful resort right on a perfect beach. Waldo's restaurant/Bar handy, good food, Happy hour 4-7.Ritsy shops and restaurant easy walk.2 bath , 1 bedroom unit perfect for a couple. Short drive to Publix and shopping.

The most relaxing mini vacation I’ve had in a long time! I loved my room because it had everything I needed. The very clean kitchen and fridge was a big help because I like to make my own food sometimes. I work at a 5 star resort in Palm Beach County and I am totally impressed by this beautiful historic resort. I give this place 10 stars because many times those ultra exclusive resorts are a big waste of money. I will be planning my next weekend get away soon here at the Driftwood! Thank you!!!!

Are family have been coming here for 20 plus years! There was a two year break, because life is chaotic. Standing here today my heart is so full. Come on down and have a great experience! Sunshine and smiles!
