Star Suites: An Extended Stay Hotel

We normally get some homes from air bnb, but this place has a full kitchen, gym, laundry and they will change sheets and towels of requested. If you long stay then just one a week. Not a lux hotel but not a cheep motel either. All in all, great value, would stay again.

Stayed here about 10 days while finalizing a house purchase. Price was reasonable. Room was spacious and clean. Efficiency style was a plus so didn't have to go out to eat always. Full size fridge, 2 burner electric cook top, microwave. Pans, dishes, utensils provided.

Unfortunately our great stay came to and end when we were treated like trash from the general manager Joanne. For 2 nights I have extended my reservation on hopper, this morning when checking with the front desk to insure we could keep our room, we encountered Joanne and her trainee who extended for me the previous morning. While trying to get a understanding of how they were able to transfer my security deposit the previous day but couldn’t today, Joanne slams her hands on the counter and tells me “we are not doing this” then proceeds to tell me I’m being confrontational by asking questions (not once did I even raise my voice) and put my 2 year old medically complex daughter, 4 years old son & spouse and me out of the hotel. The price is phenomenal for the room you get. You actually get two separate rooms with kitchen, refrigerator, small stove top and a microwave/convection oven. They actually have all the utensils and everything to cook. We went for the day to the beach And decided to stay the night. Super clean, super nice and for such a good price.
