The Hideaway in Hays Beach

Our family had a great time in this house and area as usual. We caught some great sun and crabs before the storm. This house has pretty much everything you need for the beach, we could had saved space in our car. They have wagons, beach chairs, floats, crab baskets and nets or metal traps, mini pool table/ mini ping pong, kayaks, paddle board, etc. The owners provided spices for cooking, cold waters in the game room. We got bit from the flies and mosquitoes on the beach but not as bad previous years. But this area is like one of the best crab spots and we make it fun and competitive with the kids, which they love. The owners provided us accommodations and even checked in here and there from beginning to end of our trip if we needed anything and to let us know when trash pick up was. Can’t

What a blessing it was to stay at Hideaway at Hays Beach! We went on a retreat with a group of ladies from church, the house was cozy, well kept, and just overall beautiful! The picture with the fire pit is the view of our stay in FEBRUARY(!) I can only imagine how stunning it is in warm months! It was an amazing drive being someone who is not a fan of the Bay Bridge, being able to drive through Maryland and not get on the bridge, but be on the water was a huge bonus! All I can say is that we were richly blessed and we will keep this house in mind for future getaway trips!

One of the most relaxing places there is. Off the main hustle & crowding spots, this is where you can be in touch with nature without going deep into the wilderness. My bird app picked up 12 different birds in 2 minutes. I really love the ospreys and white cranes. My daughter comes here every year. We love the Hideaway in Hays Beach.

This is an amazing property! Secluded and steps to the beach. We went to the beach every day and it was wonderful! Everything you need is at your finger tips. We used the crabbing equipment and the kyaks that were provided. So relaxing.

This is just the right prescription for fun - peaceful moments and a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. The Hideaway thoughtfully provides all you need to stay put. Well appointed and decorated inside and out. The views are spectacular. What a great retreat. Local restaurants and seafood stores give everything you need. A must stay and for sure a must return!
