The Heron Inn and Day Spa - A Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I stayed here in the off season (early January 2026) and had a wonderful experience. Inkeeper Olin was welcoming and a good source of local guidance. Breakfast to order each morning. Room was warm, easy to use gas fireplace, everything exceptionally clean, comfortable bed and bedding, plenty of lighting and comfortable seating in our second floor room. Also comfortable seating, beautiful heron-themed artwork, and available Keurig coffeemaker and tea selection, in the lobby. Easily a five star rated B&B.

We had originally planned to spend a weekend in May 2025. Family issues caused us to cancel at the last minute. Olin was so nice as to give us a credit that we used this last weekend. ||The Inn is near enough to the downtown area for a little stroll to the waterfront and shops. It is quaint and very well maintained. The room (Number 22) was well appointed, maintained and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful; served promptly and very tasty (coffee was great!). We had massages and they were not only affordable but fabulously relaxing. We would recommend this spot as a weekend get away or an anytime mini-extravagance.

I made a last minute booking with The Heron Inn after spending a day in the Cascades. Though I booked late (past 7 pm) Olin was gracious and walked me through the check in process and helped me find my room after a long day on the road. The room was spacious and wonderful - an absolute treat of an experience, being able to unwind after a long day. The following morning was equally as enchanting. Olin was extremely attentive and kind, taking my breakfast order and making sure I had everything I needed for the remainder of my time at the inn. I cannot recommend this place enough if you find yourself in LaConner!

Amazing service and delicious breakfast available here @ the Heron! The town of La Conner is also super cute and has great food options nearby. Would recommend 10/10. Missed out on couple massages but will have to come back for those!

My stay at The Heron Inn & Day Spa was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Tonya was the perfect hostess — warm, attentive, and so professional. I was truly impressed by her hospitality and how welcome she made me feel. Jaime, the owner, was lovely to meet as well — friendly, kind, and clearly takes great pride in the inn. The morning breakfast was incredible. The eggs benedict were cooked perfectly with delicious hollandaise, the eggs were spot on, and the breakfast potatoes were seasoned just right. The yogurt and fruit cups were fresh and beautifully prepared, and the coffee was always hot and ready.
