The Heldrich

We stayed here last weekend, and it was a really good experience for us. The hotel staff was very friendly and super nice 10/10 costumer service. Our room was quiet and clean. The only thing was the Restaurant down stairs, they didn't have any ingredients for Holiday drinks. But it wasn't a big deal we went across the street for our cute Holiday drinks. We did have breakfast the next day and we liked everything. The staff was professional and super nice and welcoming. I really liked my cappuccino it was delish. We definitely would book again if we travel to this side if New Jersey.

The Heldrich hotel has a clear history and reputation. It may have gone through a transition, but the lobby represents a great statement of class and elegance. The rooms are spacious and clean. I wish that all hotels could guarantee that the bed sheets have been changed. I also think they could work on their details, such as fixing frayed rugs, thicker towels in the bathroom and painting over marked walls. There is nothing wrong with maintaining a standard. My mother and I recently visited NJ over the Christmas holiday and the staff is professional and friendly overall. We had a great stay. The valet is a pricey option, but parking on the street is a roll of the dice.

Positive: Staff was amazing, especially the Valet team. Negative: Room could have used some additional amenities but overall we were pleased.

Hotel is clean and beds comfortable. A little “old fashioned” to offer 2 double beds instead of 2 queens. Be careful of the bar and restaurant- there is a mysterious charge added to the tab, looks like 5%, that they say is “for the hotel”. Lots of great restaurants in NB without sneaky charges.

The hotel was well kept, clean and beautiful. Valet service great! More than I expected. Unfortunately, Christopher’s bar restaurant within hotel was mismanaged and its waitstaff had terrible attitudes. Closed much earlier than stated on weekend, bartender turned the tv off, kicked us out, had security lock the door at 10:45 and yelled at us for using their silverware for takeout when they wouldn’t take our food order. This portion definitely needs addressed and fixed.
