The Harlow House

We had such a lovely stay at the Harlow House, just a 5-minute drive from the Omega Institute. The owners were so helpful and gracious! The inn has been beautifully refurbished and has a home-away-from-home feel. I hope we can come here again soon!

We loved our stay at The Harlow House. As a private hotel, it is more like a cross between a B&B and Air B&B. We stayed in the Dutchess suite and it was like a small apartment. Beautifully decorated, nice amenities and the gas fireplace is a great touch. It was a cozy getaway and just 2 hours from our NYC home, so I think we'll be back! One small caveat: there are no USB ports, so be sure to bring a plug-in charger.

It's an awesome B&B without the breakfast. We were in The Dutchess Room. Sick! Living room, bedroom and gargantuan bathroom! The tub looks like Grant's Tomb, the shower is nice. Beautiful tile and rainfall shower head. Handheld shower head as well for all your nooks and fannies. Living room is spacious with 2 couches and a chair. Gas fireplace is sweet. Warms up the joint quick. Quality coffee if you want to brew it. You have a water boiler and a coffee press. I didn't have the heart to open the new bag. King size bed which has different zip codes. If this place had a small kitchen, it would be the sickest apartment. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will be back.

Quiet,well-appointed, and HUGE room (seriously, two couches and a queen or king bed and still plenty of room). The hosts, while not always on-site are reachable by text and extremely responsive. Example:at 7:30 at night, I texted because my TV wasn't turning on. I got a text back within 2 or 3 minutes telling me how to resolve the problem (it's just an issue of pointing at it from a higher angle). You get into the building and your room via coded entry, which is sent to you a few days before your stay. Just inside the entrance you find directions to each room (they all have names). The room I stayed in had a full set up for tea and French press coffee, complete with ground beans. Perfectly clean, with a gas fireplace that warmed up the room nicely. Great find in the heart of Rhinebeck! Nice and simple self check-in. boutique hotel vibes, cozy fire place, beautiful nature views, relaxing week retreat from the city. Will definitely stay again.
