Customer Reviews
We took over the inn and the Delamater inn for a 50+ person wedding. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff were kind and attentive. There is so much history here! That said, your room will be bright and comfy even if there aren’t as many amenities as with a modern hotel (no soundproofing ofc, no robes, no safes in room, no mini-fridge, those kinds of things). However, the inn is beautiful and the tavern serves great food. The greenhouse is a wonderful setting for a wedding or small event and the attached ballroom has a huge dance floor. Gathering areas like the fireplaced lobby were convenient and centrally located.
I stayed here twice- 1x in Dec & then again in Jan. The first time I went in Dec was with my son for his 13th birthday. He loves anything paranormal so we went in hopes of experiencing it. Everyone was very nice, from the front desk to the servers in the restaurant. We loved our room and the building. The fact that the building is the oldest running Inn in America is beyond cool. If you’re looking for history and character and nice people and good food this is a great place to stay. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort that is modern and ordinary then this is not your go to. My husband and I then went just the two of us in Jan and again we had a great experience. Staff and service were superb and what a memorable and excellent experience. You can feel the history upon opening the front do
We had a relaxing and lovely winter getaway at America's oldest Inn! The history of the property is stunning from the first step onsite. I called directly to book and was grateful for Robert's incredibly attentive and helpful support in identifying 2 pet friendly rooms. We settled on the courtyard rooms for the King bed, fireplace, and pet friendly accommodation. The rooms were spacious and very cozy. Rhinebeck is a great small town for antiques and small shops, and we also had a lovely dinner at the Tavern. We hope to be back soon!
I was incredibly excited and lucky to have stayed at this gorgeous location. I stayed for 2 nights in the Gables. My second floor room was so cute, quaint and cozy! Traveling alone, I felt very safe walking in the area even at night. I ate dinner at the Tavern one night and had a nice salmon dinner. The server, Mike, was super friendly and helpful with tips on things to do locally. The continental breakfast served each morning was basic, but had a good selection to choose from. I love my memories from Beekman Arms & Delamater Inn!
I’m so glad I chose this location for my 2 night accommodation while in Rhinebeck. I love the historical details of this property. I chose a room at the Gables and found it to be very charming! I love the original creaky wooden floors mixed with the very bright and updated bathroom. I did notice the toilet continuously running, but was able to close the bathroom door when I needed to sleep. Overall, it was a great stay! I would definitely stay again!
