Interlake RV Resort

Stayed here for about a week. Not sure if I would choose this place again. The facilities really need updating and were not clean. Staff was nice, but it’s clear the ownership is very distant from the property and they don’t really care. Two bathroom buildings. The one closer to the office is just awful, doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned all summer and the showers are not good. Trash cans inside the stalls not emptied. The farther building has the Rec room etc and those showers are a bit better. However, for the price, I would have expected more. Some of the sites are a bit uncomfortably close together. I didn’t have power at my site at first, but this was quickly fixed Again, staff were responsive and kind. But there’s only so much they can do when the owners won’t do upgrades. Prob

It was convenient if you are taking a workshop at Omega. That was the best thing about it. It says full kitchen but there is no table to eat at. Two chairs in the bedroom. There were only 2 plastic spoons amongst the utensils. We had to ask for mugs. It was very outdated and the shower was nasty. I'm still not sure if I was charged correctly. Somehow they use a third party when you register and when I wanted to pay the balance not everyone was on the same page. My initial deposit did not show as paid on the invoice so I had the person checking me out write that it was paid in full. Not the best experience.

Stayed in 2023 and had a good experience.The campground was run by lovely people who cared about what they did for the guests.Now it is run with the same exactness as it offered in 2023. Now the ones who own have doubled the price out of greed just to make more and give customers the same for more. Like Corporate America More fore them and less for those who make there business succeed . No customers...No business. .What we give , we shall reap.

I would have to say the campground was not very organized. I booked my site and was way over charged for my stay. I was charged $138. Per night from a booking company when the going rate for a night is $65. When I brought this to the campgrounds attention the only thing they could say was I was over charged because I didn’t book directly through them. If I Had known this in the first place I would have never paid double the amount. Was also charged $25. To lock in a site that when we arrived was taken by a seasonal that was very run down and unkept. So we took the site next to them with no where else to go. There woman at the front desk was very nice and tried to help but It took MANY phone calls to even get a straight answer as to why my stay was double the price.

The room I was in needed a deep cleaning. My skin broke out in a rash the first morning I was there. I covered the provided bedding with my own and problem solved. I spent time trying to work out why the television didn't work and the nice lady at the store tried to help, but nothing worked. Turned out the cable had been cut off. Also had trouble with the Wi-Fi and couldn't get work done. Again the kind lady at the front desk tried to help with no resolution. When I brought this up to the owner, her response was: "Mine works fine." I hope that the owner reads this and sees how it comes across to the folks that keep her in business. The grounds are lovely and the super young woman at the front desk is a gem.
