The Flats Demopolis

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Nook during the Christmas holiday season while visiting family in Demopolis and Sweet Water. Hugh was a great host. Other than the bed being a little too high, The Nook was cozy and felt like home away from home. We will definitely plan to stay at The Flats again when visiting. Thanks Hugh for making our stay a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than a hotel room stay in the Demopolis area.

The Elk Room at the Flats was so nice! The high ceilings and open floor plan for the living/kitchen area was so spacious. They have made a comfortable and modern place to stay but saved the historic charm of the space, including the pressed metal ceiling tiles. The bathroom was well laid out and there was plenty of closet space and sitting area in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and comforter were plush. We did not use the washer/dryer, but it was good to have for a longer stay. It is just across the street from the city park and was a safe location. Just a very nice overall experience!

We truly enjoyed our time here. The place was beautiful and the space is bigger than expected. It is clean, modern, and decorated well. My only concern was getting completely stuffed after being in the home for a while. I’m not sure if it was me and the weather change, or if the home need air purifiers. Other than that, I will definitely be visiting again!

Olive is a tastefully decorated space in a restored historic building in downtown Demopolis. Everything is nice, new, and clean. Parking is at the location and access is easy. I would stay again.

Great Hosts with Clear Instructions and a modern space. Our trip was most enjoyable and we will definitely be staying again when we visit the area!
