The Fishing Bear Lodge

The Fishing Bear Lodge was delightful! Really well-maintained, cute and a great cabin vibe that felt perfectly homey after a day of exploring Yellowstone and Mesa Falls. New owners and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips for dinner and things to do. Amazing place, definitely need to check out! 🙌🏻

Came to stay for a few days near the Tetons. My vehicle ended up breaking down an stayed a week while working out the situation. The staff at Fishing Bear were VERY friendly, accommodating and as helpful as could be. The rooms are spotless and cozy. Pet friendly with well kept grassy areas to walk my dog an play ball. Quiet, safe area. Dont hesitate to stay here!

This hotel was so charming and just the thing we needed after a couple nights camping in Yellowstone without a shower. It felt amazing to come back to civilisation, and we were so delighted by the decor. There are lots of lovely little touches, like how they fold the towels and tissues. There were even folding chairs and a folding table so we could enjoy the outdoors. It was actually a straight shot from the road that goes between Yellowstone and the Tetons, but it's unpaved so it's quite an adventure. Only do it if you have a tough car. Otherwise go with the longer routes out of the Western entrance to Yellowstone is the southern entrance to the Tetons.

We had the best time at the Fishing Bear Lodge. It is under new management and they did a superb job. The landscaping is excellent; the rooms are decorated so cute, the beds comfortable and the rooms were very, very clean. The staff was great. |Fishing Bear supplies lawn chairs in each room so you can just sit outside and watch the world go by. It was one of our favorite stays on our vacation. Will stay there again.

What an absolute awesome place. Super clean Beautiful in the inside. For a great price. I wish every town had this place. We have stayed at hundred of hotels. All over the states. Honestly, this is one of the best. Plus, the price is out of this world.
