Rankin Motel

We stayed here last night, and they have totally nailed the really important parts of the motel experience. They use door codes, so check -in was lightening fast and there was never a "my key isn't working" moment. The room was spotless, great soaps and fresh towels. The beds were comfortable and clean too. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband has been staying here since he was a kid and has lovely memories here that he wanted to share with me. We stayed in a cabin and the old fashioned decor was quaint. The location is ideal! We will definitely be back. Thanks!

We stayed in a 2 room cabin was that was so fun. The small kitchenette was nice to hang out with friends having drinks and playing cards. The staff was amazing (Kim, Karen, and her husband (didn't catch his name) and was so accommodating. They even brought out the fire pit since our camping trip was ruined by Michigan size mosquitos that was too much to handkerchief. I recommend this to anyone coming through looking for a place to stay.

I like the amenities-fridge, coffee maker, Tv with dish (but most channels were out) and even creamer and tea bags. Beds were comfy. BUT the nasty green, matted carpet looked like it had never been replaced. I kept my shoes on the whole time! Also, the A/C rattled and sounded like a there terrible windstorm all night. I didn’t sleep at all. Rip out that carpet, fix the A/C and you’ll have a nice place.
