The Fin Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

It is a nice small cozy hotel. It cannot be compared to its fancy competitors on the area but it still offers a decent service and good quality small rooms. The restaurant attached to it is actually one of the best in Oceanside on my opinion.

Great location. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants, the beach, and breweries. The next time I come back I’m def going to ask to be upstairs. First floor is noisy. I can hear everyone at the restaurant/lobby/ TV lounge area in the lobby side. The sound echos down the corridor and you can hear people walking above you as well. After 10PM-11PM is when the noise starts going down but I def didn’t get proper sleep. Only come here if you going out and about, not to relax or be romantic, if that’s the case stay at a proper hotel with thicker walls and ceilings. I’ll def come back. It did the job.

Service was not good. Staff is very accommodating and good customer service from hotel staff, however marginal to bad service from management, they are not accommodating, when told I received a ticket for parking when an employee instructed me in was okay to park 2 streets down, they did not give me free parking, they said abput signage, etc. However an employee DID give me free parking after hearing it and them management said 'no' for my additional stay. Bad service and bad follow through in regard to management. You need new managers with customer service in mind. Thank you Hilton for this wonderful hotel stay.

The Fin hotel is an historic property, but it has been nicely updated. The rooms are small yet well-appointed and efficiently laid out. The location is very convenient and within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. The staff members were very helpful and accomodating.
