The Elmore Hotel, DFW Southlake, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The interior design really won me over. The decor is great and the art pieces are super interesting. 4/5 for a few reasons: Hair dryer was cracked. It still worked, but the airflow wasn’t great. The pillows were way too high for me, and I’m not sure if they take special requests… if they do, I totally missed that. Also not a big fan of the open/half‑open shower setup. We were told our room had a nice view of Christmas decorations - hmmm nope. It was a parking lot view. Hubby got the Elmore burger and it was fantastic! My steak frites were a little too cooked and bland. The fries and calamari were good too. Overall, it’s still a good place to stay and worth the price.

We are veteran travelers and have stayed at this location under it's previous ownership. The location is great and convenient to all attractions in the area. Parking is excellent. The recent remodel is very nice with a somewhat African theme and unique beautiful colors. The open food area is gone with a nice central bar, a small restaurant, a lobby sitting area, and a library lounge. All are elegant and have great ambiance. The staff is excellent and service oriented as well. Here's the issue. With all the money spent on remodeling, no one appears to have assessed the soundproofing of the rooms. Doors in the hall are loud, but that's expected. What is not expected is to hear people in the next room talking, coughing, and using the facilities, but you can. All the nice appointments are wast

Positive: Location, availability, and price. Negative: The hotel lobby was under construction. The room we were given was not acceptable in that the a/c and fridge were not working. Room change was in a dirty hall with a lot of rooms under renovation. Not how we wanted to celebrate our anniversary.

Nice big room. Beds are good. Bathroom good. Very clean. Front desk was very efficient and helpful. The bar and cafe looked good, but we did not get to use them.

Tonight is Valentine’s Day. We booked a cute bubble experience for our 5 year old little girl and her best friend. We wanted to do something that was appropriate and cute because we know Valentine’s Day is busy and there’s lots of people going out to eat. We understand it was raining all day, but we didn’t hear anything. At 4 o’clock, they decide to send us an email that we didn’t get saying that it was canceled. Two hours before the event. I can’t imagine the disappointment on my five-year-old little girl’s face when they told us that there was not any bubbles. I only talked to the hotel manager and all he said to us was sorry. I have never had such poor customer service. We asked him what are we supposed to do because it’s Valentine’s Day? He had no answer because he just didn't care
