The Duplin Inn

The Duplin Inn was pretty solid for what it is. If you are ever in town and in a pinch for somewhere to stay the Duplin Inn works. The rooms were pretty clean. It wasn’t noisy at all. Al was accommodating during check in as we had to check in outside of the window. Note: there isn’t an on call staff or someone here 24/7.

This was really a very nice place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. If I am in that area again, I will definitely be staying here.

We were in town for the Strawberry Festival weekend. With late arrival we arranged for the key to be waiting for us since the office would be closed. We had no problems finding the key and getting into the room. Good location, walking distance to the festival. Plenty of free parking on property The room was simple, neat and clean, a little dated, but very comfortable for 2 people. Nice kitchenette space. We used the coffee maker and refrigerator for drinks but if staying longer I can see where it would be nice to have that in the room Fresh towels each day, soap & shampoo provided, coffee and cups in the kitchen. If we are ever back in the Wallace area we would definitely stay here again

I absolutely love this hotel! It’s very clean, has affordable rooms, and is located in the perfect area. I’ve stayed here several times over the years. It always smells amazing and the owners are very welcoming. The cleaning services are impeccable so you can relax and not worry about roaches or bugs! I recommend them 10 out of 10 every time!
