The Drift Hotel

Don’t stay here!!! If I could choose “0” stars I would. From the moment we arrived we realized the pictures in the listing may have been edited. We arrived at 3 to drop off our luggage and were only going to be there for a few minutes. There was no parking at all. The guy at the front desk offered we could park our car in the courtyard which I thought was unusual. We checked in, there was construction going on and painting in the office. It was a mess in there. I got the keys and went up to the room and there was a strange broken vending machine, an eye sore, sitting in the center of the courtyard. The building look in need of patch repair and paint. Our front door of unit 9 looked like it had been kicked in. The room smelled of mold. We dropped our stuff off and had to rush out to our app

Dirty filthy rooms. Black mold everywhere in the shower. Baseboards as well and dirty chip walls everywhere. I know what black grout looks like . It was once light gray grout ..Management could care less. That's why I'm posting this. Next time take care of your customers and protect their health.

Positive: Location, parking Negative: Upon arrival there was garbage throughout the courtyard clear to the room door. Housekeeping was working on room after we checked in. Floors were filthy after they cleaned. Shower valve did not work. TV did not work. Room decor was non existent.

Nice room well air conditioned good television and comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with fresh towels. Pleasant cleaning staff always smiling. My main issue was that I was locked out of my room one night since I came home after 1:00 A.m.. And there was nobody at the office and no way of contacting anyone! Fortunately, my friend was with me and he was staying at the hotel, very high-end next-door and invited me to stay at his place. Otherwise I’ll be sleeping in my car.

My friend and I were at the Drift Hotel restaurant Christmas Eve for dinner. Our server was Miguel, he was very nice, personable, attentive and made sure he went over the menu items with us. The manager Meghan, came over to our table introduced herself, making sure we had an enjoyable dining experience. She was so sweet, you can tell she is a great manager. Restaurant atmosphere was great, everyone did their job, food came out in timely fashion, and was delish! Meghan made sure we were satisfied with both our meals and our service. We’ve frequented The Drift before, and will definitely be back with friends.
