Customer Reviews
Outstanding, very personalized service. Excellent front desk staff, valet and bell staff, wait staff and housekeeping. Wonderful location. Small but nice gym. Nice renovation of a historic building. Reasonable but limited dinner menu. On the down side, small tight room with limited storage. Lousy water pressure. Didn't like rain head shower (with long hair makes rinsing difficult). Would have preferred a coffee maker in the room. For the price point, a Lavazza or Nespresso would be appropriate. Hotel room cost wa steep for what it was.
I’ll start with the positive. The decor is a cool vibe with mid century modern aesthetics/furniture throughout. Top floor is an outdoor terrace with limited food and drinks, but a great view of the Ravenel bridge and Charleston harbor. Downstairs is a large area with bar and open seating that creates a very inviting night time scene. |All staff were quite friendly, despite the crowds (we visited over Christmas, and with Santa there for the kids, it was a pretty hectic weekend between parents/children). Another positive was the location, which allows for walking most anywhere in the historic area/Charleston peninsula. |The downside to the property was room noise (we could hear others in their rooms, no doubt they could hear us) and a perpetual hot water issue as showers would get warm howe
This hotel has a very nice architecture and decoration, it’s modern but with classic aspects from the mid century, the rooms are good but some gadgets like the hairdryer need to be upgraded. Another aspect which could use some improvement is the dining area, the low chair and tables make it difficult to eat, but allowing guests to have breakfast in-room make up for it. The service was very good, everyone was attentive and very professional and the car service is excellent! The region is also very good, walkable to most places 10-20 minutes walk. The bar area and rooftop are very nice, definitely a must even for non guests!
Positive: Staff was extremely responsive to our needs. Went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. Negative: Room service menu was meek. Very few options but ice cream was a 10+++
Perfection. Perfect location, near all the action, museums, points of interest, and restaurants. Gorgeous inside, fully stocked bar with some of the best “hotel” cocktails I have ever tasted. It is Located under one of the most relaxing, immaculate cocktail bars with views for days! Our room was clean, far exceeded are expectations, and was cozy & spacious at once. The spa was beyond reproach and personalized so much for us. The best thing about it all is this is BY FAR THE BEST customer service I have ever received at a hotel. From the front door host, every employee, bell hop, bartender, cleaning staff, valet personnel, ALL blew the customer service out of the water. In a two day stay our names were remembered! We never had any interaction with staff that wasn’t 200%. They have a very c
