The Dan'l Webster Inn & Spa

I haven’t gone there for a long time, but decided to give it a chance on a Thursday night. I love the atmosphere. There’s nothing like it and our server was very good.. Quality was good however, the portions were shockingly small. We got the steak tips and fries. They were more like steak nuggets about the size of a quarter each, and they were only four of them. Which I think worked out till about nine dollars a steak nugget. They tasted good and were cooked well, but there just wasn’t many of them. My date got the prime rib (grilled) Which also was very small. i’m happy we got appetizers because we definitely would’ve been hungry based upon the portions that were given to us for our main entree. The inn was quiet, beautiful and comfortable. The four poster king canopy bed was gorgeous & very comfortable. Housekeeping was offered each day, we accepted on one and was very thorough. Staff were friendly and helpful. One night we had a partial power outage (a nor’easter during our stay darnit) and glow candlesticks were offered, and staff checked for our safety. The tavern was great, Sarah was very helpful, friendly and busy. Unfortunately, the tavern was not open on Monday eve of Columbus Day and Tuesday due to staffing shortages. Nice little fridge & sink/mirror separate from toilet/sink/shower. I would definitely stay here again!

What started off as an awful experience and interaction ( no fault of the establishment more on my company's lodging group) turned into a good time. The food was good , bar a great feel and the rooms were clean and quant. The whole feel at this old inn was comfortable and home like. Id happily go back and look forward to the next time im in the area.

A quick getaway after a busy Holiday season with family and friends! We always try to find a place that includes amenities like spa and restaurant and this place has it all, including a seasonal pool! A two hour drive from home but it surely was worth it as we found it to be worth everything and more.|Temperatures were in the teens but the sky blue and the sun shone each day. The Cape had just received about six inches of a really wet snow and the fir trees were covered like a vintage postcard that welcomed us to the quaint town of Sandwich.|There’s a tavern, several dining rooms and a spa.|The restaurant and meal choices are varied but each item is tastefully prepared and presented by the chefs.
