Sandwich Lodge & Resort

Our stay here was ok. Rooms were clean enough and basic. Beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable, but not terrible. The walls also had what looked like bug splats on them, likely from the summer that just were never cleaned. The pool area was ok, however, there were 5-6 young children in the hot tub and a dog in the pool… Also, the parking lot was very icy and many spots leading into rooms were left untreated. Breakfast was included with our stay which was a added bonus. The Local restaurant is right next door and walkable for lunch or dinner/drinks. Staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. If you’re looking to stay on cape and are on a budget, this is the place.

We stayed over night just to chill out … enjoying the pool in the Jacuzzi. All we had to do is open up a slider door and we were at the poolside. You have a nice table right outside our door that we could sit at. We had a twin queen beds, accessible room for handicap if needed So it was nice and large and very clean.

Our room was very clean, well equip and comfortable. There were no rugs on the floor which made coming in from the snow and ice a bit slippery. It was perfect for a good nights rest, but not so much for hanging out in because there was only one chair, besides the bed. We did not use the common spaces or breakfast. It was perfect for our needs for a place to sleep while visiting family.

Enjoyed a pleasant stay here and its a great location for the things we like to do in the off season. King room was spacious, with an ample desk area, plenty of outlets for charging devices, and a small counter with two stools. There was also a wet bar area with a mini fridge, microwave and small sink. Staff was welcoming and friendly. A few negatives: there is no daily housekeeping and we filled both wastebaskets during our stay. We also found the towel policy a little off-putting; used towels need to be returned before fresh ones are supplied. However, this policy is spelled out on the website. We also found the breakfast area quite small and crowded. Offerings were pretty typical and coffee was quite good; we simply took our breakfast to our room. None of this would prevent a future sta
