The Condo By The Sea (Inside the Hanscom Condos)

Horrible place to stay. To small and unclean. Not worth the money.

Great Location, beach block!! Close to all the restaurants and Boardwalk, Ocean Views, staff was terrific, very affordable!||||Ocean city is an amazing family resort, with so many family centered activities, we enjoyed every minute!!!

Great location! comments in no particular order and are for an OFF season stay... We felt safe tucked away in the corner of the old hotel, a block from the beach, plenty of off street parking, the building supervisor was friendly and helpful, check in was easy, shopping and plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk, grocery store within a 10 minute walk, bike rack, did I mention it's a block from the beach, laundry facilities on site, lots of icky-sticky being smoked in the building.

As others have mentioned, there's a lot of little things that makes this place not worth the hassle. The rooms seem to be very haphazardly cleaned and maintained. The air filter in our window unit hadn't been touched in months, The renovations to the bathroom had not been completed (there was exposed wiring to a vanity mirror light not functioning and instead they used a clip-on desk lamp with an extention cord.). My room was tiny and had an uncomfortable full/twin bunk bed combo. The parking situation was awkward - I had to give my keys to them and call the very awkward manager to get my car if I needed it. One note: the elevator is extremely small

The hotel is a historic landmark built in 1928. The room is small compared to modern day hotels, but that is to be expected when it was constructed in 1928. It's right off the boardwalk, so no need to drive around to find a parking spot, and was quick to get to when it began to rain.
