The Chateau at Lake La Quinta

Rooms are nice, but thin floors. I woke up to someones loud footsteps every morning. Pool is small. The doors do not deadbolt from outside so when you leave, your stuff is only protected by door handle lock. Would be very easy to break in. Once inside you can deadbolt it. So at least when you're in you're probably safe. My TV kept turning on randomly. Overall a nice location, but for the price I'd expect a bit more.

A charming hotel with wonderful decor, a fantastic patio on the lake, and attentive staff. We had some maintenance issues and the staff, especially the manager, Karla, responded immediately and took excellent care of us. The staff care about their customers and were so gracious!

Cute little hotel. Very friendly Staff, welcomed us with a couple glasses of champagne. We were there over Christmas Eve and they were still attentive and friendly. Would stay again.

Positive: The staff and location Negative: The room?s floor was dirty. We had to ask to be cleaned. The TV had two remotes that the had to come and show us how to operate it. Even after that it wasn?t working.

This boutique hotel looks great from the outside, once you are in the rooms its a different story. We were given an ADA room that was very weird and not thoroughly cleaned or maintained, there is no attention to detail, which is sad because it has potential. The bed is not bad, but manager needs to walk the units, a little touch up paint on their many wall blemishes would work wonders, there are scuffs on furniture, cracked decorations etc. Pool was filthy, no drink service at the pool, not even a water station. Also the older gentleman at the front was not very welcoming, they were offering a glass of champagne to other guests but we were not offered anything, disappointing stay.
