La Quinta Resort & Club, Curio Collection by Hilton

Positive: The property is beautiful with waterfalls, colorful flowers in bloom and numerous pools to enjoy. Negative: At check-in, the hotel desk clerk had zero personality!

We've had weddings in La Quinta Resort and we also stayed in their rooms/villas. It's incredible! The rooms are amazing, and each has its own charm, perfect for getting ready photos for bride and groom. Everywhere you go and look there is a beautiful backdrop where you can take pictures. We've had weddings next to the famous La Case (where Greta Garbo frequently stayed), and in the golf terrain right next to the desert mountains. The golden hour is fantastic. We always look forward to going back there!

We haven't been to the area in about 10 years and were looking for a quick and easy getaway - no TSA or stressful airports. We chose this resort because it was dog friendly. So glad we did. My husband and I had the most relaxing weekend with our two dogs. Our little bungalow had a wood burning fireplace and a lovely patio in the back where we sipped our morning coffee. It was a short walk to the nearest pool and there was a lovely loop around the grounds to walk our dogs. We enjoyed our dinner at the Mexican restaurant at the hotel and we also checked out The Marketplace for coffee and pastries one morning then sat outside with our pups. All of the staff - including the wait staff at restaurant were lovely. First rate experience! We'll definitely go back.

I recently stayed at La Quinta as part of a small group organized by our racquets club for the Indian Wells tournament. The only good thing about La Quinta is its close proximity to Indian Wells. Aside from that, its basically a cruise ship - and not the good kind. It is completely isolated from anything and everything - meaning once you are on the property, you must either take an uber or car to get anywhere. And they know that, so take advantage. Everything is ridiculously overpriced. A bottle of soda for $7. Small coffee for $5. Take away sandwich with one piece of ham for $16. Cocktails for $30. Most days, they are seemingly overwhelmed with people staying there and can't keep up. The lines to get coffee or breakfast are insane. Every morning we woke up, and there was garbage and empty

The perfect combination of old and new. The buildings, architecture and grounds maintain a classic Spanish-style charm while the rooms are renovated and beautiful. The property is stunning with many pools and activities — including tennis, pickleball and lawn games spread throughout. As a runner, I appreciated their detailed map of four different routes (including a half marathon distance AND a 20miler!) The bed was extremely comfortable and I love that there were a lot of lighting options (overhead lighting, floor lamp, bed stand lights, reading lights in the headboard, great lighting in the bathroom and a hanging light over the table). My bathroom had a large new tub and a separate shower and beautiful Spanish tiling. Room service was fast and delicious. My only issue was the fridge
