The Charleston Chestnut Mansion

We stayed at the Charleston Chestnut in early December and it was a simply lovely A plus experience. Perfectly located in downtown Charleston, we stayed in the Steeple Suite but we were with family so we were able to see all of the units; and all were very, very attractive, well appointed and extremely clean. Also, the beds were very comfortable with luxe linens and bedding and the bath rooms were well stocked with high end products and sumptuous towels. The kitchens were all extremely clean, and included any appliance and or utensil you would need. The owner/manager, Andrea, was very responsive, professional, lovely and accommodating. Although all of our needs were more than met, she made it clear she was on hand and available if anything may have arisen. Probably the best vacation rental

My husband and I came to Charleston for my birthday and Spring Break. The room we stayed in was amazing. The perfect size for both of us. It was a little loud from the guests staying above us, but over all very nice. The only thing we couldn't figure out was how to turn the TV down in the bedroom, and how to get the station off of the Samsung plus in the living room. We'd definitely come back.

The location of the Chestnut Mansion is fantastic -- our group of nine (we booked the Chestnut Suite and the Steeple Suite) were loving how close we were to everything! No need for a car or any type of transport -- we walked everywhere right from our doorstep. There's even a major grocery store (Harris Teeter) .2 mile away, so that was surprising, and very convenient. The area felt safe, even after dark. And it was very quiet. My husband and I had the room closest to the street on the ground floor, and we rarely heard anything at night. Both suites were nicely decorated and filled with everything we needed. Andrea was very responsive to my queries before, during and after our stay. This place is an absolute gem!! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Really beautiful, well appointed, spacious accommodations in the heart of downtown Charleston. Honestly, the only thing wrong was that we could not stay longer. Private elevator was amazing when needed for groceries or luggage, but truthfully, it was simply lovely and we would have been super happy regardless!

We have stayed here twice and love it! Fantastic location, great price and very responsive. The Chestnut of Charleston is our "go to"for our trips to Charleston. We have stayed in the Sailboat Suite, which has plenty of room for many adults. You will not be disappointed.
