The Castaways On the River

A place with boat rentals and boat docks. You rent a house from them and have access to boat ramps or a rental. Like a fish camp. Ours was a 2 bath 3 bedroom house. Had a great experience. Rented a pontoon boat and stayed 3 day 2 nights. Cruised the river, and enjoyed a spring that we boat to. Staff was nice and helpful the house we stayed in was nice and clean. We enjoy house because we are a large family and eat alot so the full kitchens are great. I gave a 4 on the rooms because our shower door would not close the the way and it cause the floor to get wet. But they were info and probably fixed it. They are going thru renovations to the office building so it may have e changed some.

We rented a pontoon boat for our group of 9 and took it to Silver Glen Run. The boat was in great condition. We blew up our floats and tied them to the boat so we can float at the springs. The boat had good seating, storage, ladder, and cover. Refueling was $35 as we only went there and back. No complaints. I would definitely rent from this place again when in the area.

Our family loved the 3 bdr place on the river. We rented a pontoon boat and headed to Silver Glen for the day. So much fun ! The girl in the office is a sweetheart ! Plenty of towels on the unit. Coffee and coffee pot. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, the washer and dryer is a nice bonus. The AC works good and plenty of room to cook, eat and have family game night. We will definitely be back. Great place for the Grandparents, grand kids and the whole family to meet up.

I stayed in the fishing cabin #301 from Friday until Monday and had a boat rental foe the day on Saturday. The cabin was amazing and I loved how close it was to the water. The screened front porch was awesome and I spent a lot of time out there. Just a heads up, there is a cat that roams the area and is super friendly. He belongs to the employees and is well taken care of. The staff is so friendly too. They will give you instructions about the boat and give you a map so you don't get lost. The boat was so much fun. We went out to silver Glen springs and had a blast. I wasn't sure of the fuel price but it turned out to be only $30 for the day which wasn't bad at all. Took one of their pontoon boats out for the day. The staff was very helpful and personable. They explained everything to us very clearly and helped us (first time boaters) feel confident on the water. I'd definitely recommend using your phone GPS to navigate the area if you aren't familiar. We drove up to Silver Glen Springs and had a really nice time on the water and even saw a baby gator by the dock! Will definitely be going back!
