Parramore's Campground

The view & atmosphere of the cabin we stayed at was unbeatable. Comfortable & clean. Somewhat updated, "glamping". Staff was friendly & accommodating. Easy check in/ check out. There was a cleaning charge besides price of cabin. This price is NOT a tip for cleaning people. This place could have been 5 stars if it was more private. Didn't know the MANATEE cabin is located right in front of public dock area. Would stay in a different cabin for price paid. Not a cheap place at all. Were quite a few other people walking by cabin to get to shared area from the RV area. Not all but some of these folks threw cigarettes on lawn, left garbage in "our" firepit & left dog poop on grass near "our" little area by firepit. This was VERY disappointing.

We were so impressed with the charm, cleanliness and how well the cabins were stocked with essentials that we went back a second time. The same fantastic experience was embraced. The staff was attentive and friendly. The campground is so welcoming, clean and so many activities are offered that its difficult to find any concerns. If we forgot anything, the store/office had it. How many places can you visit nowadays that will allow you to use the honor system for payment when you forget something. This place is truly something special. Its not fast paced and structured if that's what you're looking for. It's charming and slow so that you can take time to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings and time with those around you. We loved it so much that we are waiting for a permanent

In honor of my father we rented two cabins towed an RV and two boats. The adults and the children had a blast,, even with one cold day because we had good old fashioned board games which provided a night of belly laughs. I had the Manatee which had a very spacious kitchen with a large island. They have a small playground and a large pool. A community shower house which is clean. We rented boat slips for easy access to fish on the St. John’s River. Just puttting around or fishing is so relaxing. Fire pits were a nightly get together for roasting marshmallows and playing games. This was a wonderful Thanksgiving for everyone. All the staff go out of their way to make sure everyone is having a great time. Even our dogs great little community.

We stayed last week and we loved this place with just the amazing camping spot we had right on the St John's river everyone that works there was super helpful and nice. They day we left we met the owner and it was raining. we have a toy hauler and he offered to help me load my motorcycle so needless to say I'll definitely be back

Great small fish camp/campground. They do have permanent residents that are polite and pretty much staycto themselves. Certain times of the year it can be crowded, again it is small. Office has things you may need as in firewood and ice cream, plus souvenirs like shirts, cups, and stickers. It does have a boat launch and boat slips some covered some not (which are an additional cost), or you can pull a boat every day and relaunch every morning. Has a nice, well maintained swimming pool and cabins for rent. Check them out. I think it will be worth your visit.
