The Carriage House

Clean, comfortable and cute room. My only complaint is the blue LEDs all over the place. It is easy enough to get tinted glass on LEDs these days. Otherwise it was a nice little room. We didn't really interact with anyone in person...we "checked in" over the phone with a lock box for keys. The location is not bad...don't expect a view is all.

What a wonderful stay! We enjoyed this place because the room was clean, extras in the room were a nice touch, and contactless entry was so simple and appreciated! Beds were super comfy. Great experience from start to finish. P. S. Owners are very responsive and accommodating! Wonderful touch!

Motel style outside boutique hotel room inside. So cute and clean. Really happy and would recommend to people. Staff sent a text with code to lock box . Easy check in. Definitely stay if you need a hotel in this area!

Really nice little motel. Clearly well maintained and the Owner/Manager was very kind. Carried my bag to my room for me and made sure I was happy with the room. Area was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

I don't think I can say enough good things about the Carriage House. It is right off of 15, close to everything you will need if you're staying in Hamden. The room (I stayed in a King) is spacious, modern, clean and best of all super quiet. I think I got the best sleep of my life! Rinal was so gracious and communicative throughout. Such a wonderful gem in a world of Airbnbs and overpriced hotels. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm staying overnight in Hamden, and in the future will encourage everyone else to stay here as well!
